Concrete water tank repair specialists!
Does your concrete tank have a crack that needs repairing?
Anyone with a water tank knows the importance of keeping it sufficiently filled. The last thing you want is your water being lost through cracks and holes in your tank. Because rainwater is slightly acidic, it can make the inside surface of your water tank porous, over time. This leads to cracking and leaks.
Envirovac uses a range of methods to repair concrete tanks, depending on the severity of cracking. Using high-quality materials, we can remedy all cracks, seeps and holes that lead to water leakage.
What if I have a crack in my water tank?
As soon as we arrive we’ll assess your situation and give you a quote onsite to make sure you’re satisfied with what we can do. Once you’re happy, we’ll drain your tank and give it a good scrub if needed, so we can clearly see what we’re dealing with.
We use our specialised equipment and A-grade cement mixture to fix the cracks whether they’re inside or out, and then finish with a waterproof sealant. Once the curing time is finished we’ll vacuum and rinse your water tank making it spotless and looking brand new.
How long will I be without water during a repair?
For a repair job you will generally be without water for 24 hours. This allows enough time for the repair to be carried out and ensures that the sealant will set.

How do I find the leak in my concrete tank?
You may have noticed that your tank is leaking but you are unable to identify the source. It can be difficult to locate exactly where a crack is in your concrete tank. Envirovac team of specialists can inspect and quickly diagnose the cause of your concrete tank leak.
What causes concrete tanks to leak?
Rainwater collected in your tank is acidic. Over time, this will extract the lime from the cement to arrive at a neutral PH level. Lime is the key binding agent of cement, so when this is removed, the inside of the tank becomes rough. This creates a loss of seal and allows moisture to seep into the steel skeleton of your concrete tank. This causes the steel within the walls of the tank to rust, expand and cause cracks.
